Since I spend a lot of time at home, I feel comfortable when my home is neatly organized, so I'm naturally interested in home maintenance tips, and I found a video on YouTube that helped me think about some of the things I've been worrying about and provided solutions, so I captured it.

집에서 보내는 시간이 많다 보니 집이 깔끔하게 정리되어 있으면 편안함을 느끼게 됩니다. 그런 면에서 집안 살림을 잘 관리하는 꿀팁에도 자연히 관심이 가져지기 마련인데요, 유튜브를 통해 알게 모르게 신경 쓰였던 부분들에 대해 함께 고민하고 해결책을 제시해 준 영상이 마음에 들어 캡쳐를 했습니다. 

Products like shampoo, body wash, and conditioner have the advantage of being pumpable and easy to use, but the disadvantage of not being able to get the last of the product out. It's been said that if you clean and replace the cap of a ketchup or steak sauce bottle, you can easily use the last of the product. Of course, the cap needs to be the right size and be able to be turned upside down for convenience. I hadn't thought of this, but it's a good idea to try.

샴푸나 바디워시, 린스 같은 용품은 펌프 식으로 되어 있어 사용이 편리한 장점이 있지만 마지막에 잘 나오지 않는 단점이 있습니다. 그럴 때 케첩이나 스테이크 소스 뚜껑을 잘 세척해서 교체해주면 마지막 남은 부분까지도 쉽게 사용할 수 있다고 합니다. 물론 뚜껑 크기도 맞아야 하고 뒤집어 놓을 수 있어야 편하겠지요. 미처 생각하지 못했지만 한번 시도해보면 좋을 듯한 방법이네요.

I also learned a new trick for using tongs to hold used scouring pads, and since I had both the sink and the tongs at home, I was able to try it out right away. Turn the stainless steel tongs upside down and hang them over the sink's overhang, and they'll hold up better than you think. You can leave a freshly used scouring pad on the hook-like part to drain.

사용한 수세미를 걸어두기 위해 집게를 사용하는 방법도 신박했는데요, 마침 싱크대 구조와 집게까지 집에 있어서 바로 적용해 볼 수 있는 팁이었습니다. 스테인리스 집게를 뒤집어 세워 싱크대 튀어나온 부분에 걸면 생각보다 단단히 지탱해줍니다. 고리 처럼 된 부분에 막 사용한 수세미를 놔두어 물기를 제거할 수 있습니다.

The last one is a plastic bag + paper bag combination that can be used as a trash can, which is to fold the paper bag into the size of a plastic bag to make a simple trash can. I have a lot of paper shopping bags at home, so I was thinking about where to use them, but when I saw this, I thought I should try it. It seems like a good idea because it's easy to throw them away as soon as they get dirty.

마지막으론 쓰레기통으로 사용할 수 있는 비닐봉지 + 종이백 조합인데요, 종이백을 비닐봉지 사이즈로 접어서 간이 휴지통을 만드는 방법입니다. 집에 종이쇼핑백이 많아서 어디 쓸지 생각해보다 이걸 보곤 한번 실천해봐야겠다 생각이 드네요. 쓰다가 더러워지면 바로바로 버리기도 쉽고 괜찮은 아이디어인 거 같습니다.
